Susan has worked in the counselling field for 30 years. Her dedication to the process has increased over the years, because she knows now that life involves taking risks, facing conflicts, excepting limitations, respecting boundaries, suppressing thoughts and feelings and moving on from failures. All of which take a toll on your self-confidence, emotional well being and physical stamina. She knows there are times when a person simply feels overwhelmed and unable to face the next challenge or obstacle. Families, although helpful and supportive, are often unable or unwilling to listen due to a shortage of time or an inability to understand the situation or state of mind we are struggling to resolve.
